 Jimmy Donaldson, also known as MrBeast (born May 7, 1998) is an American YouTube personality and businessman. [6] He has been recognized as the creator of a type of YouTube videos that revolve around costly stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson uploaded videos to YouTube at 13 under the pseudonym "MrBeast6000". His first content consisted of videos and Let's Plays in which he estimated the wealth of other YouTubers. He gained fame in 2017 when his "Counting to 100,000" video racked up tens to thousands of views in just a few days. Donaldson was able to have several of his childhood buddies help him to manage his growing YouTube channel. The MrBeast channel was 60 strong by 2022. It reached 100 million subscribers on July 28, 2022.
