Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub is an American actress, comedian and activist. After emigrating to America, she was born in Soviet Union to Jewish parents. Her career began as an actress in her early years as a child. She is best known for her appearances in AT&T commercials on television. In these commercials, she was Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and 2020 (since 2020). She was a regular host on Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). Additionally, she was regular on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016–2017). After being cast in the TV pilot that was never aired for New Warriors, Vayntrub also voices Squirrel Girl on Marvel Rising. Vayntrub, a Jewish person, was born in Tashkent (Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic), USSR. She and her parents fled antisemitism at the age of two. They moved to West Hollywood. She started performing in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five, due to her family's financial problems. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. But, she dropped out of her sophomore year, and subsequently obtained an GED. Following that she was able to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication from the University of California San Diego. Vayntrub studied improv in the Upright Citizens Brigade.
