Morgan was born July 2nd, 1989 to Pamela Morgan and Michael Morgan. They raised her along with her two sisters, Jeni and Jeri, in the Los Angeles suburb of Diamond Bar. Morgan was multisport in her youth, but she was only introduced to soccer at 14. Morgan was a member of the Cypress Elite club team and won the Coast Soccer League under-16 championship. Morgan also finished third place in the bracket for under-19 players. Morgan continued to train at Diamond Bar High School, where she developed her soccer abilities. The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) chose Morgan as an All-American Athlete.
